Happy 1st Anniversary, SWA Ultimate!
Am so inspired to see how SWA has helped transform Mark Deximo.
It’s not just the haircut. It’s also the way he speaks.
You can also see the glow of confidence, gained after being ridiculed and rejected by so many of his friends when Mark first started out with SWA.
It’s like a rite of passage that everyone goes through. You join a business opportunity, and then you excitedly share it with your friends.
And then you get hit with the cold truth that not all your friends will share your excitement. A lot (if not all) of them will raise their doubts and will warn you that you’re about to make a mistake.
The more you cling to your beliefs, the more that THEY will also hang on to THEIR beliefs. It’s truly painful to realize how, in that one aspect, you can be so different from the people who matter to you.
(NOTE: Most of the people who join me in SWA were complete strangers before. In addition, I haven’t even met 99% of them face-to-face.)
And so we grow and mature. And continue loving our friends, whether in spite of our differences, or BECAUSE of those differences.
Thank you, SWA, for this continuing journey of discovery, as we get to know others as well as ourselves a little bit better with each passing day, or with each passing year.
